DESCRIPTION Invio Automation's Engineering Manager is a key member of the management team responsible for leading all engineering and program management activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a continuous improvement mindset and seek to engage at a detailed level in the day-to-day activities required to deliver product on-time and under-budget.
All business unit program managers and the design function will report to the Engineering Manager.
Challenging program managers, project engineers, designers and detailers to integrate sound engineering practices and adhering to a standard process work flow will be a high priority.
The individual must possess a sound technical background in the General Assembly automotive environment of major OEMs.
Demonstrating exceptional customer service and responsiveness is a requirement.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Operational and engineering technical depth to lead the implementation of engineering design standards and complete technical review of solutions destined for the general assembly environment Oversee customer scope of work to ensure all contractual terms and conditions are met Working knowledge of UG, SW, CATIA, AutoCAD, and other design software Lead team of Program Managers responsible for delivering multi-million dollar programs to automotive OEMs Experience implementing Design for Manufacturing methodology in a custom advanced industrial solutions environment Hands-on experience and technical acumen to successfully lead internal and external design reviews, customer buy-offs, and root cause analysis in the field Education and
Experience:
A four year degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or a related field is required.
Also require at least five years of engineering management, leadership, and custom automotive tooling experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
