Restaurant Manager - Front of House Full-time to include Evenings and WeekendsThe Restaurant Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for leading and motivating a team to achieve the highest level of customer service.
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
Responsibilities:
o Perform Open / Mid-Day / Closing duties.
o Conduct shift meetings on matters of importance to the team.
o Exercise discretion and independent judgement.
o Ensure 100% compliance with all company policies and laws.
o Make recommendations concerning development, promotion, and disciplinary action affecting team members.
o Create schedules for front of house staff to ensure there are always enough workers to serve customers.
o Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the restaurant area.
Qualifications:
o Knowledge of POS systems.
o Ability to multi-task and take initiative, warm demeanor and positive attitude.
o High personal integrity, professionalism, and maturity.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
o High level relationship management and performance management skills.
o Ability to motivate and direct team members, and work effectively in the management team.
o Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills.
o Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
o Strong problem-solving abilities.
o Managing new hires and leavers.
o 3-5 years of managerial experience.
o Must be available nights and weekends.
o Must be able to work holidays.
