To install, repair, troubleshoot and maintain various electrical systems, controls, and equipment and to plan, lay out, construct, and install articles such as deflectors, pans, straps, containers, wing patches, and flaps, metal furniture and other items which have predominantly straight edges and regular curves. 1. Installs, repairs or replaces, modifies, loads, and tests new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems fixtures, panels, switches breakers, and controls. 2. Troubleshoots problem areas and inspects for, equipment and faulty wiring. 3. Manufactures and installs or repairs cylindrical, square or rectangular-shaped objects which have easily constructed fastenings such as single and double-hem edges and single, double, or grooved seams. 4. Uses and maintains various types of hand and/or power tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, soldering irons, cable pullers, hydraulic benders, pipe threading machines, hammers, chisels, hand snips, hand and circle saws, squaring shears, seamers, bar folders, brakes, and stakes. 5. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe .and dean work environment, 6. Performs other duties as assigned.
