To qualify for the DB-03 position, applicants must possess at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower pay band 02 or equivalent GS-11, which includes managing and executing programs within the DoD Acquisition Life Cycle; displaying knowledge and familiarity with DoD 5000.02 and its application to major Acquisition Programs; effectively communicating critical information to senior leadership through briefings and written examples; working across multiple competency areas; leading with situational leadership and conflict management skills; leading projects and teams towards defined productivity metrics and results in a technical environment; using project management principles and techniques, systems engineering tools and best practices, advanced design methodologies, and risk management; applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, and the ability to plan, conduct and document a variety of studies, analyses and reports, including findings, recommendations, and follow-up; establishing and maintaining relationships with key individuals/groups outside immediate work unit; communicating orally and written to present briefings, proposals, technical definitions, and acting as a technical spokesperson for an organization; effectively interacting and clearly communicating ideas to target audiences; and leading teams. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
