Experience:
In order to qualify based on experience your resume must describe, at least one year of specialized experience at the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) level in the Federal Service that includes the ability to:
1) research and examines historical information; 2) develop cost methodologies and techniques; 3)develop life cycle cost estimates for DoD weapon systems; knowledge of advanced mathematical and statistical techniques; 4) demonstrate data analysis methodologies such as cost analysis and evaluation; 5) evaluate cost estimates to determine accuracy, adequacy, significance and validity; 6) evaluating business data to develop conclusions and/or courses of action; 7) collaborating with team members; and 8) briefing results to business customers and/or stakeholders. The definition of specialized experience is typical work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or (GS-11) equivalent. Individual Occupational Requirement (IOR):
The 1515 occupational series has specific education requirements that apply to all positions. In addition to the required experience listed above, applicants must also meet at least one of the two individual occupational requirements (IOR) listed below (A.- B.) to be considered qualified for this position. To meet the education requirements, you must have:
A) A Degree in Operations Research OR B) A Degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. Note:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
