GOVERNMENT INFORMATION SPECIALIST (127 WG)

This position is located in Air National Guard(ANG)Installation. The primary purpose of this position is to manage the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) program for the (installation/organization/wing). The incumbent is responsible for implementing policy, providing guidance, program management of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act (PA), and Information Collections and Reports. 1. Manage the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Program. 2. Manage the Privacy Act (PA) Program. 3. Ensures compliance with requirements for FOIA and PA programs. 4. Perform other duties as assigned. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
